Miss Hepburn

Glamour, extravagance and the hourglass figure.

The 1950s gave the world of fashion its femininity back after the plain and practical fashions women wore during WWII. Europe's top fashion houses were back in business and designing glamorous and extravagant Haute Couture that came to be known as "The Paris Effect". Every actress in Hollywood was wearing the new designs from  the top fashion houses of Coco Chanel, Givench and many others.

Placed accross the head is an off white vintage veil which  hangs  to the waist line is placed across the top of the base that is made of a very delicate white silk sateen fabric..

In completing the the look and design of era I have used white  original  vintage white appliquéd flowers.

This piece is very subtle by design but  truly reminiscent of the 1950s.
